Back to Camps!

In the springs school holidays, we were finally able to get back on camp with our campers.

Two groups of volunteers (totally 56 volunteers all together) dedicated 4 days across our two mini camps to mentor, and spend some long-overdue time with 32 of our campers (16 a camp).

While COVID-19 made things a little different than normal, both mini camps were a huge success and only made possible by the ANZ Australia's Community Foundation Program and the support of Rostrevor College.

We spent as much time as we could out in nature, with both camps enjoying Morialta Conservation Park, along with the return of camp activities like uno, golden child and more.

One of our volunteers Luke helped lead one of the Mini Camps, had this to say about his experience:

"The mini camp experience was extremely wholesome. Being able to come together for even a small amount of time in such a weird year and still see the effort other volunteers are putting in to make these campers have the best possible days was honestly heartwarming. Not only this but being able to see the smiles and impact that we could have on those campers! Couldn't have asked for a better group of leaders or campers! Loved every moment and have friends and memories for life!"

Thanks to everyone who helped us get back on camp!
